A jornal entry
I have written a blog lately since I watch my niece Gabby n Brianna(she is my sis's roomate's daghter) they are 6, well gabby will be 6 on 8-3. Anyways this was a journal i wrote after reading A passion for Jesus( not all of it only some).
Why do we(humans) rationalize everything? Becase we are human. we need evidence or like a tangible thing. The idea of God not having a body is just so crazy for s that we put a face, a body on HIM, even though HE doesn't have one.

It is odd. Do you think it is a bad thing though? Strictly looking at this question through the artist's lens, art is intended to express ideas and inspire ideas. If we look at Michelangelo's interpretation of God in the Sistine Chapel, he is full of strength, wisdom of age, authority, and, of course, beauty. In a time when the majority of people could neither read, nor write, this gave them something to hold onto and use as a basis of relating to God.
But, then again, we can also look through the lens of a theologian and find the art to be a limitation on God's greatness... but who needs glasses anyway?

no i dont see it as a bad thing. we give GOD a body so we can relate and comprehend HIM more. i am just saying to remeber that He doesnt have nor need a body.

well it was fun. i left friday nite, august4. i never got to say bye in person to gabs but i called her. i started crying afterwards n after my sis said bye twice. she walked away the first time after helpingg me with my luggage to the line and then came back sad. i cried once i got on the plane. i am definietly going back. it was soo much fun. i missed it after going on the plane before takeoff. i just have to remember to bring food bk they dont feed you.
